AzuraCast provides a flexible and powerful way to customize your online radio station, allowing you to fine-tune its branding, playback settings, and automation. This guide walks you through key customization options available in AzuraCast.
Step 1: Update Your Station Profile
The station profile settings allow you to personalize your station’s name, description, and more.
How to Edit Your Station Profile:
- Log in to your AzuraCast panel.
- Click Manage next to your station under the Station Overview section.
- Navigate to Profile > View Profile.
- Update the following fields:
- Station Name – Displayed on the web player and public radio directories.
- Description – A short summary of your station.
- Genre – The type of music or content your station plays.
- Website URL – If you have a dedicated website, enter its link.
- Click Save Changes to apply your updates.
Step 2: Customize Your Station Branding
To enhance your station’s appearance, you can upload a custom logo and set a color theme.
How to Add a Logo and Artwork:
- Go to
Profile > View Profile
. - Scroll to the Branding & Media section.
- Upload a Station Logo and a Default Cover Image for tracks without album art.
- Click Save Changes.
Step 3: Configure Stream Settings

To embed the player on your website, copy the Embed Code and paste it into your site’s HTML.
Step 5: Set Up Custom Playlists and Jingles
Custom playlists and jingles help make your station unique.
How to Create a Playlist:
- Go to
Media > Playlists
. - Click Create New Playlist and enter a name.
- Select a Playlist Type (e.g., General Rotation, Scheduled, Once Per X Songs).
- Upload or assign audio files.
- Click Save Changes.
How to Add Jingles and Station IDs:
- Upload short audio clips under Media > Upload Media.
- Assign them to a Jingles/Station IDs playlist.
- Adjust Playlist Scheduling to play jingles at set intervals.
Step 6: Configure AutoDJ Settings
AutoDJ ensures a continuous stream of music when live broadcasting isn’t active.
How to Customize AutoDJ:

If multiple DJs or hosts contribute to your station, set up individual accounts for them.

. - Click Create New Streamer.
- Enter their DJ Name, Stream Username, and Password.
- Define their Schedule and Permissions.
- Click Save Changes.
DJs can log in separately and broadcast live using their credentials.
Step 8: Enable Listener Interaction

How to Enable Requests:
- Go to
